Wrap Thy wings about me ~ sweet Lord ~ then I'll be okay.
Hold me closely to your heart ~ each and every day.
Touch me sweet Savior ~ and I know I will be healed . . .
Isn't that what Thine own Father ~ vehemently willed?

Let me touch His feathers ~ so I might be whole again.
He plucked me from Satan ~ and all the terrible sin.
Let me lift up my voice ~ to the Heavens ~ just to say . . .
Wrap your wings about me Jesus ~ and I'll be well today.

In the darkness of the midnight ~ when I am wide awake . . .
Come and stand beside me ~ Lord, fear to overtake.
In all Thy mercy ~ and forgiveness ~ count my loved ones too . . .
As soldiers of the Cross ~ in all the things they ever do.

Put your arms around them ~ and make them all, well again
Each, loving family member ~ and every single friend.
If you will do this Lord Jesus, I know all will be well ...
We will not be afraid then; all our fears, will Thou dispel

It's such a long journey ~ through this earth ~ without Thee . . .
How can one ever make it ~ without Thy company?
So, Lord ~ put thine arms around the world ~every soul . . .
And one day ~ in Heavens Garden, with Thee ~ we can stroll.
