~~~ All You Want Me to Be ~~
Lord, each day I live ~ let it be, for you ~ from my heart.
I know there is not a lot of time ~ on this old, earth 'til we part.
We've been so blessed ~ in all you gave us Lord, each child . . .
A good Father and Mother to teach us ~ so sweet and mild.
Help me, Lord ~ to finish what you have given me to do . . .
In this old world. Let me teach my offsprings too.
Along "with their Dad and Daddy Bill," we will make it there
As we look, to the sweet Heavens ~ and bow our heads in Prayer.
I look at the wondrous ~ starlight at night, and begin to wonder . . .
About Thy power and Grace. And, know you will never put us asunder . . .
But, bring us to that running river of life ~ so sweet and nigh.
The river of life ~ and the wondrous fountain ~ there, that never runs dry.
It's our goal, to look forward to ~ to be in Heaven there, with Thee.
Help us to appease, help us to please ~ as Thou would have us be.
Keep us under Thy wing Lord ~ as with her chicks ~ doth the mother hen.
Bring us to the ultimate place, of Bliss that we've never been . . .
But, so looking forward. to the gathering there, with Thee, most of all.
And, with Thy Blessings ~ on our dear, loved ones, come to call.
Knowing this is forever, in Thy loving sight ~ Thy sweet grace . . .
And someday yonder, in the twinkling of an eye ~ we'll see Thy face.
