He Looks on His Vineyard

While we go through life, God doth look . . .
His vineyard over the earth and keep a book,
With names to be blotted out, or kept forever.
Oh! Let us live that our names will be there, ever.

God's people are his vineyard. He moved every stone.
Cleared the hillside and made for us, a lovely home.
Let us produce the red wine to come from the press . . .
That God would give us white, as our Heavenly dress.

Not stained and dirty, after, His toil at the task,
As, He can see all, know all, see through a mask,
That any would try to disguise . . . He is wise . . .
He is love, He is Mighty and powerful and sees lies.

Oh! The hillside he cleaned and purged, just so . . .
That in our hardened hearts maybe we would know,
The love He has for His vineyard and His wine.
I want to live so He will say, this child is mine.

He lives forever . . . I want to be there with Him
In Glory. I want to see glory that makes the moon looks dim.
Not to compare, for there in none who could.
But I am so grateful that God, in His mercy would.
