I'd Rather Be...




I'd rather be poor and happy;
Than to be rich and lonely
Without the Savior by my side
I'd rather have Jesus to hold,
Instead of diamonds and gold
And a haughty look with too much pride,



I'd rather be rich in the faith;
Saved by his Grace....
Than to have the whole world at my feet.
I'd rather be, ready to go
So then I'll know....
That up in Glory we will meet.



I'd rather be honest and humble;
So I won't stumble.....
While teaching other's of His love
I'd rather be gentle and mild,
And Meek as a child.....
Receiving Blessings from above.
