Jesus had Risen

I dreamed that I was standing,
*On Golgotha, in the garden.
I was looking there for Jesus.
I needed to ask for his pardon.

Didn't they say he was buried here,
That they wrapped him in linen and spice?
I was weeping as I wandered
Through the garden; not once, but twice.

It was then that I saw the angel,
Who beckoned for me to follow:
Guiding me to my Savior's grave,
Where it stood; empty and hollow.

"Why do you weep?, he asked me.
"For, you seek the one that lives;
The one that arose on Easter day,
Yet died for the pardon he gives."

I awoke and I saw the feather
And I knew my dream was real.
Jesus had risen, one Easter,
And helped my heart to heal.
