OUR INSEPARABLE RELATIONSHIP
(Romans 8:31-39)
With a world of brokenness around us,
it sometimes is difficult to believe that God
will never leave us nor forsake us.
As we look at all the relationships around us,
it's often hard to imagine
God's love runs so deeply and so truly
that we never will be separated from it.
But throughout Scripture,
we see evidence of God's love for us.
In Romans 8:38-39,
we learn that nothing can separate us from the love of
God.
This can be difficult to comprehend.
We think: "Surely there is something we can do or
some place we can go to lose God's love."
But for believers, it's impossible.
His love is here for the duration of time.
As we study God's Word,
we discover that His act of submitting His only Son
to serve as the sacrifice for the sins of the world
was indeed an incredible act of love.
"For God so loved the world..." (John 3:16).
God's act of declaring us not guilty
through the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross
shows His incredible love for us.
Paul writes in Romans:
"Being justified as a gift by His grace
through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus"
(3:24).
And if that wasn't enough evidence,
God also gave His Son to serve as an intercessor for us . (Hebrews 7:25)
What a comfort to know that Jesus
forever is praying for us!
