He Gave Me He gave me a wish, that I could wish on, He gave me a dream of a sweet home. There above the mountains and sky, He gave me a dream that one day I'd fly Under His wings, as He soars me there, He gave me hope to go to Him in Prayer. He gave me a perfect love, as Jesus died He gave me tears, tears I have cried, For the dream and love of His word, Sweetest story ever to be heard. He gave me the hope that there He doth wait ‘Til its time to meet Him at the gate. He gave me courage to keep trying, He gave much comfort when I was crying. He gives me justice when the law is cruel, He gives me beauty in this old world. He gave unto me a family to ever love He gives love to us all, from up above. Don’t wait ‘til tomorrow, to call His name, For it might be too late and be to your shame. He wants you to come to Him today He will gladly show you the Holy way, Into the Kingdom of His glorious light, Where He shall never again let it be night.
