Everlasting Life

Jesus hung between two thieves, up there on Calvary,
One asking His forgiveness, ''Saying Please remember me.''

The Lord was weak and weary, from the piercing in His side,
But, He said to him, ''This day you'll be, with me, in Paradise.''

He said, ''Father, please forgive them" for they know not what they do,
As the blood drained from His body, with the pain they put Him through.

He loved us more than life itself, with our Forgiveness, He supplied.
His blood flowed like a river, as His own needs were denied.

Even through His pain, and suffering, He thought we were worth the price,
so He gave us more than we bargained for,
He gave us, ''Everlasting Life.''
