Defend His Name




Let's defend our Savior's name.

He's a true, forgiving, Friend.

Don't let them take His name in vain;

Speaking blasphemy and sin.


Would you curse the hand that feeds you

Or, mock His loving ways ...

When all he wants to do is please you?

His precious name deserves 'All Praise'.



So, when you hear someone, whose lost,

Curse his precious name ...

Just look them in the eye and tell them

They should hang their head in shame.


Let's defend His sacred honor

By reminding ones who're lost

Of the sacrifice He made for them,

When His Son died on the cross.

Of the Lord, thy God, in vain."
