IN SALVATION,
ARRANGE
THE FOLLOWING IN PROPER SEQUENCE
ACCORDING
TO THE SCRIPTURES:
| Praise and worship God |
| Love of neighbor |
| Divine knowledge and wisdom |
| Identify Jesus so as to know the Father also |
| Love God after identifying Him and known His will |
| ''Born Again'' |
| Humbling oneself or humility |
~ ~ ~ THE PROPER SEQUENCE, AS IT IS

Humbling oneself or humility (Matt. 18:3, Matt.
5:3) |
| 2nd
Divine knowledge and wisdom (Matt. 11:25, Isa.
28:9 KJV) |
| 3rd

(Mark 12:29-30) |
| 6th
Love of neighbor (Mark 12:31) |
| 7th
Praise and worship God (Psa. 56:10) |
| 1st
- Humbling oneself or humility |
If pride is the cause of the downfall of
Lucifer and mankind, God did the opposite by humbling
Himself ''manifesting Himself in the flesh'' to
show the Way. Thus,
Matt.
18:3 ''And said, Verily I say unto you,
Except
ye be converted, and become as
little children, ye shall not enter into the
kingdom of heaven.''
Matt.
5:3 ''Blessed are the poor in spirit:
(human spirit) for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.''
'God's Rebuke:
Prov.16:18 ''Pride goeth before destruction, and an
haughty spirit before a fall.''
| 2nd
- Divine knowledge and wisdom |
It is only after truly humbling oneself or having
been ''converted into a little child'' that a
person is endowed with divine knowledge and wisdom.
Isa.
28:9 KJV only ''Whom shall he teach knowledge? and
whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them
that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the
breasts.''
Matt.
11:25 ''At that time Jesus answered and said, I
thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because
thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and
hast revealed them unto babes.''
'God's Rebuke:
2 Cor. 3:18 ''Let no man deceive himself. If
any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let
him become a fool, that he may be wise. 19For
the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For
it is written, He taketh the wise in their own
craftiness.''
| 3rd
- Identify Jesus so as to know the Father also |
Identifying Jesus requires
a ''miracle'' or divine revelation.
This
was demonstrated in Simon Peter. Clear
identification of Jesus should follow the identity of the
Father also.
Matt.
16:15 ''He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I
am? 16And
Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ,
the Son of the living God. 17And
Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed
art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not
revealed it unto thee, but
my Father which is in heaven.''
John
8:19 ''Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus
answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if
ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.''
God's
rebuke:
1 Cor.1:19 ''For it is written, I
will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and
will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 20Where
is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer
of this world? hath
not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21
the
world by wisdom knew not God
''
John
8:54 '' Jesus answered
it
is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he
is your God: 55Yet
ye have not known him
''
It is only after a person humbled himself that
he is endowed divine knowledge and wisdom. This
opens the eyes to identify Jesus Christ and clearly
recognize the Father also
that the Natural Man (1 Cor. 2:14) is said to be truly
''born again.'' ''Born
again'' makes a person ''child of
God.'' True
and real recognition is mutual between God and the
chosen.
Heb.
8:11 ''And they shall not teach every man his
neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know
the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the
greatest.''
God's
Rebuke:
Jer. 17:9 ''The heart is deceitful above all things, and
desperately wicked: who can know it?''
Matt.
7:21 ''Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall
enter into the kingdom of heaven; but
he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22Many
will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not
prophesied in thy name? and
in thy name have cast out devils? and
in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And
then will I profess unto them, I never knew
you: depart from me
''

- Love God after
identifying Him and known His will |
Christ gave the basic principle of knowing
or identifying ''The
Lord our God is one Lord,'' as the
first of all the commandments before ''loving
Him.'' It is
only after ''knowing His will'' or
understanding His words that we can express our love for
Him. Mark
12:29 ''And Jesus answered him, The
first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; Mark
12:30 ''And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all
thy heart, and
with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all
thy strength: this
is the first commandment.''
God's
Rebuke:
James 2:19 ''Thou believest that there is one God; thou
doest well: the devils also believe
'' Rom.
10:2 ''For I bear them record that they have a zeal
of God, but not
according to knowledge.''
Rom.
10:3 ''For they being ignorant of Gods
righteousness, and going
about to establish their own righteousness, have
not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of
God.''
Love of neighbor comes after ''loving
God.'' Thus, the proper sequence is,
| 1st
Know or identify Jesus Christ and God |
| 2nd
Love Him |
| 3rd
Love of neighbor. |
Mark 12:31 ''And the second is like,
namely this, 3rd
Love of neighbor. Thou shalt love thy neighbour as
thyself. There
is none other commandment greater than these.''
Example of
''love of fellowmen.'' Christ
is speaking in parables and the
explanation of His words should come from Him, through
His words.
Matthew
25:31 ''When the Son of man shall come in his glory,
and all
the holy angels with him, then
shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32
And before him shall be gathered all nations: and
he shall separate them one from another, as
a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33
And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the
goats on the left. 34
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come,
ye blessed of my Father, inherit
the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the
world: 35
For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I
was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I
was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36
Naked, and ye clothed me: I
was sick, and ye visited me: I
was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord,
when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or
thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38
When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or
naked, and clothed thee? 39
Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto
thee? 40
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily
I say unto you, Inasmuch
as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my
brethren, ye
have done it unto me
46
And
the righteous into life eternal.''
a. ''For I was an hungered, and ye gave me
meat.''
If to the Natural Man (1 Cor. 2:14), ''meat''
refers to material things given to the needy, like
money, rice, and other things of value; to
Jesus Christ it means the ''will of the Father''
or the TRUTH in His words.
John
4:31 ''...his disciples prayed him, saying, Master,
eat. 32
But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know
not of. 33
Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath
any man brought him ought to eat? 34
Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him
that sent me
''
Our Lord
also explained this when He fasted 40 days and 40 nights.
Satan
simply saw literal-physical hunger in our Lord when he
said:
Matthew
4:3 ''And when the tempter came to him, he said, If
thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made
bread.''
Jesus
showed that His ''fasting'' actually meant
''spiritual hunger for the word of God.''
Matthew
4:4 ''But he answered and said, It
is written, Man
shall not live by bread alone, but
by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of
God.''
This was
long revealed in the Old Testament:
Jeremiah
15:16 ''Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and
thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for
I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.''
Amos
8:11 '' Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD,
that I will send a famine in the land, not
a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing
the words of the LORD: 12
And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north
even to the east, they
shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and
shall not find it.''
b. ''...I was in prison, and ye came unto
me.''
To the Natural Man it simply means visiting a person in
prison. To
Christ, it means more than that. John
8:32 ''And ye shall know the truth, and the truth
shall make you free.''
c. ''Naked, and ye clothed me...''
To the Natural Man it means providing dress/pants/clothe
to a poverty-stricken person. To
Christ, it means sharing the TRUTH to the ''poor in
spirit'' (Matt. 5:3) that
the person would be clothed with the ''garment of
salvation'' and be
''covered with the robe of righteousness.''
Isa. 61:10 ''I will greatly rejoice in the LORD,
my soul shall be joyful in my God; for
he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he
hath covered me with the robe of
righteousness
''
d. ''...I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink:
...''
To the Natural Man it means giving literal water, but to
Christ He refers to the word of God, and to the Holy
Spirit for the right revelation of the truth:
Eph.
5:26 ''That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the
washing of water by the word.
''
John
7:37 ''Jesus stood and cried, saying, If
any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. 38
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out
of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that
believe on him should receive: for
the Holy Ghost was not yet given;
because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) ''
e. ''...I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
''
To the Natural Man, giving temporary shelter and care to
a person in need. To
Christ, sharing the TRUTH to a ''lost sheep''
that the person is welcomed in the ''household of
God.''
Eph. 2:19 ''Now therefore ye are no more strangers
and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and
of the household of God; 20
And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and
prophets, Jesus
Christ himself being the chief corner stone.''
f. ''I was sick, and ye visited me.''
To the Natural Man it simply means visiting a sick person
in the hospital on in the home. To
Christ, it means sharing
the truth to the ''sick in spirit'' that needs
spiritual healing of the soul so
that the person would be included in the spiritual
''harvest.'' Psalms
41:4 ''I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal
my soul; for I have sinned against thee.''
'God's Rebuke:
Isa. 64:6 ''But we are all as an unclean thing, and
all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags...'' Eph.
2:9 ''Not of works, lest any man should boast.''
| 7th
- Praise and worship God |
Psa 56:10 ''In God will I praise his word:
in the LORD will I praise his word.'' Psa.
17:7 ''I will praise the LORD according to his
righteousness: and
will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.'' 1 Tim.
2:8 ''I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting
up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.'' The
''two hands'' refer to the two kinds of life of a
real believer: Physical
Life and Spiritual Life. Through
the WORD we praise God by the kind of life we have: Physical
Life for ''cleanliness on the outside,'' and
Spiritual Life for ''cleanliness in the inside.'' Prayer
is a ''continuous relationship'' with God with
the ''two hands'' raised always. This is what is
meant by:
1 Thes.
5:17 ''Pray without ceasing.''
God's
Rebuke:
Isa. 29:13 ''Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch
as this people draw near me with their mouth, and
with their lips do honour me, but have
removed their heart far from me, and
their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:14
Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work
among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for
the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and
the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.''
